Symptoms show up in people within two to 14 days of exposure to the virus. A person infected with COVID-19 is contagious for up to two days before symptoms appear and can remain contagious for 10 to 20 days. The best way to prevent and slow down the spread of COVID-19 is to protect yourself by getting vaccinated; washing your hands often; wearing a mask, if needed; and staying home when you feel sick. |
SYMPTOMS
