Fall Prevention
Fall prevention is important to consider as you get older. Physical changes and health conditions — and sometimes the medications used to treat those conditions — make falls more likely as you age. In fact, falls are a leading cause of injury among older adults. Still, fear of falling doesn't need to rule your life.
Let our trained Registered Nurses conduct a FREE, in-home risk assessment visit to assess the risk of falling in your house. To schedule a visit, call Winnebago County Public Health at 920-232-3000 or email health@winnebagocountywi.gov.
