What is SNAP?
SNAP is the new name for the improved Food Stamp program in Wisconsin.
SNAP is today's food and nutrition program designed to help create a healther Wisconsin. It is "A Recipe for Good Health" and provides wider access, ease of use, and information about good nutrition.
SNAP benefits are spent using a debit card called the Wisconsin QUEST card. The card is used to purchase food at participating grocery stores.
How do I apply?
Individuals interested in applying can apply in the following ways:
- Contact the East Central Call Center at 1-888-256-4563, Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 8am-4pm, Thurs 12pm-4pm
- Apply for benefits
- Report a change
- Complete a renewal
- Ask a question
- Online via ACCESS
- Changes can also be reported via ACCESS
- Apply in person during our Lobby Hours 8:00am - 4:30pm
(The reception staff will register requests for assistance and give options on how customers can make an application.)
