Note: Physical agility testing is required only for non-certified patrol applicants.

Hiring Steps:

  1. Application Submission
  2. Preliminary Interview Panel
  3. Personality Screening
  4. Physical Agility Screening (requirements below)
    • Vertical Jump: 11.5 inches
    • Push-ups: 18 continuous
    • Sit-ups: 24 in one minute
    • 1.5 Mile Run: 20:20 minutes
  5. Background Investigation
  6. Psychological Exam
  7. Medical & Drug Screening
