Calling all Winnebago County K-12th grade artists & environmentalists! The Land & Water Conservation Department is currently accepting entries for this year's Conservation Awareness Poster Contest. Posters must use original artwork and include this year's theme "May The Forest Be With You Always." DEADLINE IS TUESDAY, DECEMBER 5 by 4:00pm. The Poster Contest has 5 Grade Divisions (K-1, 2-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12). County Contest winners in each division receive ribbons and an environmental-themed gift. 1st place winners also advance to the Area Contest to compete with 8 neighboring counties. Winners at each level continue to advance to the State and National contests. |
Open to all Winnebago County Youth (this is a statewide contest, so youth from other counties should contact their local Land & Water Conservation Department for the details on their county's contest dates & entry information).
