Wellness Plus Classes are designed to help you age well, be active, manage chronic conditions, and prevent falls. Classes are researched, tested, and proven to help you self-manage your health. Strong Bodies is a simple scripted program can improve bone density, balance, and strength for participants.

The class at the Omro Area Community Center is on Mondays & Thursdays from 9:30-10:30am. The class will run from May 8th, 2025 to July 31st, 2025.

Participants DO NOT need to be a YMCA member to participate at the YMCA location. The classes at the Y are held Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10-11 am until June 26, 2025

Strong Bodies at Winneconne Highlands Senior living community is held on Monday and Thursday from 10:30am-11:30am. This class will be held until June 30th. 

• The Winnebago Unit Marine Corps League Auxiliary will host a Taco Dinner fundraiser from 1 to 5 p.m. May 10 at its Oshkosh clubhouse, 4715 Sherman Road.
• The $10 dinner (or $8 for veterans) includes three tacos, sides and a drink, with proceeds benefiting local veterans and community organizations.
• A cash raffle will also be held at the event, with tickets available from auxiliary members, during Friday night bingo, or at the dinner itself.
