Friendship Place, Inc. is a non-profit social, educational, and recreational mental health outreach program for people with mental illness. It is designed to encourage participation in activities and opportunities both at the outreach center, and in the community.

If someone is interested in being a member, call to make an appointment to visit the facility for the first time. A staff member will meet with the individual to go over regulations/changes/expectations as they relate to COVID-19. After that, individuals are encouraged to come a few times to check the place out. If they are then interested in becoming a member and partaking in services, a staff member will sit down to complete the membership paperwork. The membership paperwork will consist of attaining a referral from any professional working with the individual that can verify that the individual has a primary diagnosis of a mental illness. Call Friendship Place for more information, or visit their website here.
