Beginning in 2024, the Wisconsin Department of Revenue now has the availability to apply for and to remove Lottery Credits online via their portal. Paper forms are still available for current year applications and removals and will need to be turned into the County Treasurer's office as in the past.
- 2024 Lottery and Gaming Credit Application - If you owned and occupied your property as your primary residence as of January 1, 2024 your property is eligible for the Lottery and Gaming Credit. Please complete this form and return it to the Winnebago County Treasurer's Office before November 1, 2024. Please check your tax bill to see if you are receiving a Lottery and Gaming Credit. If you are receiving the credit there is no need to fill out the application again.
- Lottery Credit Removal Form - If you feel your property does not qualify for the Lottery and Gaming Credit and would like the credit removed, please complete this form and return it to the Winnebago County Treasurer's Office.
For all 2023 Late Claim applications, you will need to submit the application directly to the DOR via their portal. You will need to be able to attach a PDF copy of your tax bill to the application and need the assessed value (which can be found on the bill). The link to the portal can be found here.
