2022 Poster Contest Winners
Adoption of Soil Health Conservation In the Rat River Watershed
Winnebago County Land and Water Conservation Department in partnership with Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance announced today that they received a $200,000 grant from the Great Lakes Commission (GLC) to reduce sediment and phosphorus pollution that enters the Winnebago System.

2021 Area Poster Contest Winner
The Wisconsin Land and Water Conservation Association held its "2021 Conservation Poster Contest" on January 22, 2021. This year's theme was "Healthy Forests, Healthy Communities". The Winnebago County Land & Water Conservation Department would like to extend our congratulations to Claire Meier from Winneconne Elementary School who placed first at the Area Level Contest in the Grades 2-3 category. 2021 Poster Contest Winners
The Winnebago County Land and Water Conservation Department held its “2021 Conservation Poster Contest" on December 16, 2020 that was open to Kindergarten through 12th Grade students. The contest’s theme this year was “Healthy Forests, Healthy Communities”. This contest is a part of the Wisconsin Land+Water organization created to promote environmental awareness in youth.
