2018 Poster Contest Winners
The Winnebago County Land and Water Conservation Department held its “2018 Conservation Poster Contest" on December 7, 2017 that was open to kindergarten through 12th grade students. The contest’s theme this year was “Watersheds: Our Water, Our Home”. This contest is a part of the Wisconsin Land+Water organization created to promote environmental awareness in youth.
The Winnebago County Land & Water Conservation Department would like to extend our congratulations to these winners and to thank all the students who participated in the contest:

Soil Health Challenge
The Winnebago County “Soil Health Challenge (SHC)” is a program designed to reward participants that are willing to work with the Land and Water Conservation Department (LWCD) to commit a portion of their cropland to no-till farming coupled with well managed cover crops in an effort to educate themselves and other producers on the many benefits of improved soil health.
