Stepping On

Stepping on is an evidence based falls prevention workshop, aimed at those that are 55 and older. In the workshop you will hear from physical therapists, pharmacists, and other experts about removing falls hazards from the home, how medication, vision and hearing affects falls, and ways to get up if you do fall. 

The sessions are two hours, one time per week for seven weeks.

Bingocize at the Y

Try our newest Evidence Based falls prevention class; Bingocize! Bingocize combines the beloved game of bingo with exercises, stretching, falls prevention education and more! This program is designed for those ages 55 and over, and anyone regardless of their ability level can participate. Come try bingocize at the Y to see what it is all about!

StrongBodies

Strong Bodies is a research proven strength training class for men and women 55 or older. The class meets twice a week for 12 weeks. Research shows that strength training will improve bone density, reduce falls, improve arthritis symptoms, increase flexibility and improve mood and confidence levels.

From July 9th-September 26

Tuesdays at 10AM, Thursdays at 9AM
