FVMP - Memory Cafe Kimberly Municipal Complex

Memory Cafe's welcome persons experiencing memory loss, along with family and friends who love and care for them. Attendees participate in activities, learning, music, conversation, refreshments, laughter and fun. Registrations are welcome but not required unless stated on the FVMP calendar. Please see the FVMP website for the monthly calendar that provides a description on all of the cafes throughout the Fox Valley each month. 

The Memory Cafe at the Kimberly Municipal Complex is the 4th Wednesday of the month 1:30-3pm.

FVMP - Memory Cafe at Beaming Inc Equine Stable

Memory Cafe's being held at Beaming Inc. are ideal for those who express interest in nature and animals. 

Caregivers are eligible and welcome to participate as well.

Enjoy meeting and grooming the horses.

Make and feed horse treat kabobs

Available for those that are not physcially able to attend on zoom.

FVMP - TLC Caregiver Support Group

Join the FVMP for a supportive and safe environment to share, interact, listen and learn with other caregivers and care partners of those with a memory loss disability. This group will run the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month and is specific to dementia caregivers. Registration is required by emailing harper@foxvalleymemoryproject.org

Alzheimer's Support Group

This support group is specifically designed to support caregivers and families dealing with the effects of Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Our goal is to offer an open, accepting environment in which to share experiences. We also provide educational opportunities to learn about research findings, coping strategies and ways to create a better life experience for everyone touched by Alzheimer's and Dementia. 

Masks are required.

Mindworks Program

Mindworks is a facilitated program designed for people with early symptoms of dementia or memory loss.  The curriculum provides opportunities for enhanced social connections while promoting brain health and overall wellness. This high-touch program is providing enrichment with a purpose – facilitators use a variety of programs to focus on enhancing abilities associated with changing memory conditions – and ultimately improve quality of life through social, meaningful activity.
