Volunteer Guardianship Program

A volunteer guardian is needed when the court system deems that a person is not capable of making informed decisions and/or managing his/her finances and there is no family member to fulfill this roll. Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

RSVP is a national volunteer program sponsored by Advocap. They partner with local non-profit agencies to develop volunteer opportunities and encourage volunteering for adults age 55+. Opportunities involve helping children with school work, provide transportation to adults with disabilities or older adults, deliver meals to individuals who are homebound, provide companionship calls, work in food pantries, help serve on construction team for Habitat for Humanity and more.
