Individuals may be eligible if they:

  • Receive FoodShare
  • Receive SSI
  • Receive BadgerCare
  • Receive a Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefit
  • Receive Federal Public Housing Assistance (Section 8)
  • If household income is at 135% or below of the federal poverty line:  

1 person - $17,226 or below

2 people - $23,274 or below

3 people - $29,322 or below

4 people - $35,370 or below

Individuals can apply online or call. Income will need to be verified in writing. One phone per household. Note that this LifeLine Program is not the same as the necklace or wristband someone might wear to press if they had fall and cannot get up.
