Medical Equipment Loan Lockers

Medical equipment loan lockers lend to persons in need with only a minimal amount of paperwork required. Equipment can be borrowed for any period of time at no cost.

Additional adaptive equipment ideas:

  • Check with neighbors/family/friends 
    • Many people have items in storage from a previous surgery/accident
       
  • Local pharmacies 
    • Often have some basic adaptive equipment at their stores
       
  • Local durable medical equipment stores 
    • Can either buy items “off the shelf” or work with you and your medical provider to bill your medical insurance
       
  • Local secondhand stores 
    • May have items that were donated (ie: St Vincent DePaul)
       
  • Options for Independent Living
    • Non-profit organization that advocates for individuals with disabilities to live independently by providing them education, information, and the technology to do so. Click here to find out more, or:

  • Telecommunications Equipment Purchase Program (TEPP)
