Visitation Rules

Visitation

Inmates must submit a list of people they want on their visitation list. Inmates may list up to eight people on that list, however, they are allowed only 3 visitors during visitation. Minors are included in this number. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.  After the inmate submits their list, it takes up to one week for the visitors to be approved and added into the computer.  The inmate picks the time and day of the week that they want each of their visitors to see them.  The inmate is responsible for notifying their visitor (s) of their assigned day and time.  If the inmate wants his or her pastor/priest (i.e. professional visitors) to come see them, they must be added to their visitation list as well.

NOTE:  Visitors will not be allowed to bring any purses, backpacks, jackets, keys, etc. to the visitation booths.  The only item visitors are allowed to bring into the visitation booth is a photo ID.  All non-essential items should be left at home or in the vehicle prior to entering the building.  A limited number of lockers are provided in the lobby.

Mail

If items such as stamps, photographs larger than 4"x6", blank paper, newspaper or magazine clippings, stamped envelopes, etc. are mailed to an inmate, they will go directly in with the inmate's property.  Newspapers, magazines and  soft cover books must come directly from the publisher. Hard cover books are not permitted in the facility.  Inmates are allowed two books, three magazines, and one newspaper in their cell at a time.  Items in excess of that will also be placed with the inmate's property.

Inmate Commissary Accounts

Certified checks and money orders can be mailed in to the jail or dropped off at the lobby window at any time.  Deposits are placed directly into the inmate's commissary account.

Phone Cards

To avoid paying for collect calls, inmates have the option of purchasing phone cards on commissary.

Posting Bond/Paying Fine

Certified checks and money orders for bonds or fines will be accepted at any time.  Please be sure to call first to verify the exact amount needed as the jail is not able to make change.

If you are paying by credit card, please be sure that you are authorized to use that card.  For your protection, you must bring in the credit card and another form of ID so the signature on the credit card can be verified.  Please note:  The company which handles credit card bond posting, PayGov, does assess a non-refundable handling fee for using their services.

Court Dates

To find out when an inmate's next court date is, please call the Clerk of Courts at 920-236-4854 or go to CCAP (Consolidated Court Automation Program).
