The Wisconsin Land and Water Conservation Association held its "2021 Conservation Poster Contest" on January 22, 2021. This year's theme was "Healthy Forests, Healthy Communities". The Winnebago County Land & Water Conservation Department would like to extend our congratulations to Claire Meier from Winneconne Elementary School who placed first at the Area Level Contest in the Grades 2-3 category. Claire's poster went on to the state level competition. The state contest was held at the Annual Conference on March 2nd, 2021 and Claire took 1st Place – Elementary Division. Way to go Claire.
