2017 Poster Contest

The Winnebago County Land Conservation Department is sponsoring a Conservation Poster Contest which offers an opportunity for young individuals to become interested in the conservation of our natural resources through artistic design.

The links below contain the contest rules which include some tips for making your poster as well as an entry form that must be completed, signed by a parent or guardian, and placed on the backside of each poster.  All posters must be titled “Healthy Soils Are Full Of Life!”.  The contest allows for only one entry per student.  All entries will receive a participation certificate and the top three winners in each division will receive awards.  The 1st place poster in each division will be retained and entered in the Area Contest to compete with eight neighboring counties at the Lake Winnebago Land and Water Conservation Association‘s meeting, Friday, January 27, 2017 in Winnebago County.

Entries can be delivered or mailed to our office at:

Attn: Lynette Hein

Winnebago County LWCD

625 E County Rd Y, Suite 100

Oshkosh, WI  54901

(Posters should be packaged so they remain flat when sent to our office.)

The deadline for entry is Monday, November 28.  The entries will be judged at the Winnebago County Conservation Poster Contest on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Winnebago County Land and Water Conservation Department.  Posters will be judged by our Land Conservation Committee and our local professionals from the Department of Natural Resources, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Farm Service Agency, UW-Extension, and Land and Water Conservation Department.
