  • Check your lot number here.

I’m on WIC. What should I do if I have recalled formula?

  • Do not use recalled formula.
  • Do not throw away formula cans.
  • Exchange the recalled formula at the store if unaffected product is available.
  • Wisconsin WIC-Approved Formula Substitutions (Lista de sustituciones aprobadas por WIC de Wisconsin) This list will continuously change as more brands are added. If this is the first time your baby is trying a new formula, please purchase only 1-2 cans to try first.
  • Visit the Wisconsin WIC website for the most update to date information. WIC staff and stores thank you for your patience during this difficult time. This situation is quickly changing and updated information takes time to reach everyone including WIC staff, store staff and WIC participants.
  • The Oshkosh Area Community Pantry and St. Joseph Food Program in Neenah have formula available for anyone, including WIC families. They received a large donation of Nestle NAN Pro, which is a milk-based formula.

If you do not have or cannot find safe infant formula to feed your baby, please contact your local WIC office.
