Mission Statement
"To safeguard the health of low to moderate income women, infants and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk, by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating and referrals to health care"

WIC is a national program that is implemented differently based on the needs of the region. In Winnebago County we are glad to have the WIC division working within our health department to support the needs of growing families when they need it most. The hours of our WIC division differ from the general Health Department hours. Please review our WIC Hours of Operation before planning your visit.
