2022 Plat Books on sale now!

The Winnebago County Land & Water Conservation Department, with Mapping Solutions, has announced the release of the recently published Winnebago County Plat Book. This spiral-bound book features the standard landownership map pages showing townships and ranges within the county, including property boundaries for all rural parcels.

Adoption of Soil Health Conservation In the Rat River Watershed

Winnebago County Land and Water Conservation Department in partnership with Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance announced today that they received a $200,000 grant from the Great Lakes Commission (GLC) to reduce sediment and phosphorus pollution that enters the Winnebago System.

2021 Area Poster Contest Winner

The Wisconsin Land and Water Conservation Association held its "2021 Conservation Poster Contest" on January 22, 2021.  This year's theme was "Healthy Forests, Healthy Communities".  The Winnebago County Land & Water Conservation Department would like to extend our congratulations to Claire Meier from Winneconne Elementary School who placed first at the Area Level Contest in the Grades 2-3 category.  Claire's poster went on to the state level competition.  The state contest was held at the Annual Conference on March 2nd, 2021 and Claire took 1st Pl
