The answer is typically no. Because of the volume of systems requiring maintenance it is impossible to allow personal preference on pumping dates. If your property has an extenuating circumstance that limits pumping, have your pumper contact us to explain the situation.

Failure to have your system pumped/inspected AND submit the pumping information will result in the issuance of a citation in the amount of $375. Payment of the citation does not negate the need for pumping/inspection and submittal of the inspection report.
Winnebago County provides the pumpers a list of properties that are due for pumping prior to mailing the letters and again prior to the issuance of citations.
We also provide the opportunity for pumpers to submit reports, either electronically or in paper form, each time they service a septic tank. Some pumpers chose not to use these options.
