Tennis/Pickleball/Basketball

Located near the middle of the park across from Shelter 4, just north of the southern roundabout. Two courts for tennis and pickleball. The pickleball courts are painted within the Tennis courts. Basketball is also available.

Dog Park

A 9-acre fenced area in the northeast corner of the park provides a secure environment for dog owners to exercise their pets off-leash. A separate section for small dogs is also available. Archery Range

Located on the west side of the park near Shelter 3 the archery range features poly targets for practice and a stand. The shooting lane is ADA accessible. Please, take extreme caution and be aware of your surroundings. Traditional and crossbow-style bows are allowed. No broadheads.

Disc Golf Course

This 36-hole disc golf course features two, 18-hole courses. There is no fee for the use of the disc golf course. Hole 1 starts by the park pavilion. We ask that you clean up after yourselves and dispose of trash properly. Learn more about the disc golf course here.

Soccer Fields

Soccer fields are located on the south side of the park. Currently, there are 18 fields for use by area soccer clubs. Fields are marked on the nets. Contact the parks department if you are not involved in a club and are interested in using the fields. View the Soccer Field Map.

Rugby Fields

The fields are located in the west portion of the park. The fields host several games and practices by the Oshkosh Rugby Football Club. Contact the parks department if you are not involved in a club and are interested in using the fields.

Picnic Kits

Add some fun and excitement to your picnic or outing. The Winnebago County Parks Department has outdoor games for rent. These games include volleyball, disc golf kit, ping pong paddles and balls, badminton, Yardzee, and bean bags for corn hole. They are $10 to rent with a $10 deposit which is returned once the items are returned. The only exception is the disc golf kit which is $30 to rent with $10 being returned when brought back in the same condition as received. We accept cash only for these items. Shared-Use Path

The shared-use path within the park is approximately 2.25 miles long (3.6 km) and connects each primary function area in the park. The asphalt surface is accessible for all abilities. There is a formal trailhead located at the north end of the park with a shade shelter, picnic table, kiosk, and bike repair station. Dogs are allowed on the shared-use path but MUST be on a 6 ft. leash maximum.

Ping Pong Table

There is an all-weather ping pong table located on the northern end of the pavilion in the center of the park.  The ping pong table is accessible from the exterior of the pavilion and is screened from those using the building. Ping pong paddles and balls can be rented at the Parks Office (see picnic kits).

Bean Bag Toss (Corn Hole)

Located at Shelters #1 and #3 are regulation-size bean bag toss targets made from all-weather concrete.  Bean bags can be rented at the Parks Office (see picnic kits) or bring your own.

Fishing Piers

Two accessible fishing piers are located along the gravel perimeter path of the pond located just southeast of Shelter #1. The ponds are stocked with fish including pumpkinseed, bluegill, and large-mouth bass. Catch and release only when fishing in the park ponds.

Playground Equipment

Playground sets are located at Shelters #1, #3 and #4 within the park. Those at Shelters #1, #3 and #4 are open to the public at all times. The set at the pavilion is accessed through the building and can be used by those renting the facility. Accessible routes to the playground structures are located at Shelters #1 and #4.

Outdoor Fitness Equipment

Seven pieces of outdoor fitness equipment accessible to all abilities are located within The Natural Way area of the park adjacent to Shelter #2. Pieces include:  4-person pendulum, abs & dep station, 2-person cross country ski, 2-person vertical press, 2-person lat pull down, 2-person chest press, 3-person static combo, sit-up, pull-up dip station, and a 4-person leg press. Fitness equipment is available for use year-round as weather conditions allow.

R. C. Flying Zone

An area for radio-controlled aircraft is located east of the soccer shelter for use when soccer is not taking place. Pilots are required by the F.A.A. to register their aircraft.

Metal Detecting

Metal Detecting is allowed in certain areas of the Winnebago County Community Park. People interested in metal detecting at the park must obtain a permit from the Parks Office.
