The Family Services Team works with children and adolescents referred by Child Welfare staff who are court ordered to be involved in therapy services due to abuse, neglect, or delinquent behavior and are on medical assistance. Services are provided by an individual therapist or by an in-home team which consists of a therapist and case manager depending on the level of service needed. The services provided include individual therapy and family therapy, and are determined based on the needs of the child and their family.
For the most part, the team provides services only to individuals who have Medical Assistance. There are situations in which other insurance could be used, however, such as frequency of visits and fit with community resources.
Individuals that do not meet the criteria of the Family Services Team, can be seen in our clinic. See the Walk-In Clinic section of this website for more information.
